At a glance
WOU is an open and distance learning university: its bachelor and master pages state that its degrees are delivered 100% online, and 25 such programmes (15 bachelor's, 10 master's) are tallied in excluded_online. Only programmes with a conventional registration or campus delivery are recorded: the campus-based Bachelor of Technology (Hons) in Mechatronic System (a TVET-accredited programme, TVET/QP16669, hence no MQA code), the MBA, which holds a conventional registration (MQA/PA18679) alongside its ODL registration (MQA/PA18765), and the Master of Education, which holds a conventional registration (MQA/PA18492) alongside its ODL registration (MQA/FA0521). Five doctorates on WOU's doctorate page are tallied in excluded_doctorate: PhD in Engineering Science, PhD (Business Management), DBA (MQA/FA11243), PhD in Education and PhD (Management). A Graduate Certificate in Business Management and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education also appear on WOU's lists and are out of scope.
Programmes & fees
Fees are transcribed from the institution’s own published documents, in the currency and on the basis it publishes (total programme fee, per year or per semester). Where the institution publishes separate Malaysian and international rates, both are shown. A programme with no published fee is marked as such — figures are never estimated.
